This felted art work is in the form of an eight inch wool tile. The hand felted wool background is enhanced with birch twigs held in place with handspun alpaca and milkweed silk yarn. The alpaca is from my animals, I collected the milkweed from the field behind the house. I saved the seeds to plant in the spring for the monarch butterflies. The seed pods are from my garden and hand printed lace from my stash. All stitched in place with embroidery.
